I started in construction part-time in 2005 as a supplement income. I was a full-time firefighter and worked shift work.
This allowed me to build my skills in woodworking. I found that woodworking was rewarding, building things with my hands. I looked forward to my part-time job the more I learned.
Every project is different and rewarding in its own way. I strive to provide quality work with quality materials and customer satisfaction. I have always been a hands-on person, regardless of the job. It gives me great pride to be able to step back and see the vision I had come to life.
I was a full-time firefighter for 10 years and then changed gears. I attended basic law enforcement training and became a Deputy sheriff in 2012. During this time, I continued woodworking part-time.
I worked with a construction company to gain new skills and build my knowledge base. I finally felt confident enough and got the courage to start my own business. I started Burakowski Enterprises LLC in February of 2021.
I then progressed and got my General Contractors license in early 2022 to expand my business. It was a big step, but I did it and the only regret was that I did not do it sooner.
